“ Probably one of the best restaurant in Canada and even better than a few European restaurants we recently went to. It was not just a meal but an experience. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. She gave us just the right amount of attention. The food is not pretentious but well balanced in flavour and presentation. We highly recommend this restaurant. If you are a lover of amazing and creative dishes, this is the place to go. A little gem in Deer. ”
“ It was a wonderful meal. Worth every penny. If you like tartare, this was one of the best I’ve had. Very creamy and flavourful. We followed that with the duck, which again super tasty and didn’t disappoint. We had the Valentine’s Day creme brulee, was a little loose but still great taste. Atmosphere is nice for a date night, quaint and comfortable. ”
“ I 'm in Red Deer again for work, and I always ask for recommendations for lunch from my clients. 53 on Ross is something out of an Italian movie. Feels like New York and Italy combined. I met Phil the chef, and as my client mentioned, I should meet him. He is full of life and very knowledgeable about what his restaurant has to offer. The staff were exceptionally polite and professional the moment I arrived. I sat at the bar, and Leah served me. She has a great personality, and we chatted for a few moments. I ordered the Lobster and Crab Ravioli - Ricotta cheese - Roasted Squash - Sage and Bacon . The flavors were absolutely a perfect combination. Nice portion for lunch. I told Phil how wonderful it was, and I will definitely be back with my spouse. I'll drive from Calgary to Red Deer just for his food again. This place is a WOW. Thank you. ”
“ From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service is top-notch—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. But let’s talk about the drinks... hands down, the best espresso martini in town! Perfectly balanced, smooth, and just the right amount of indulgence. The food is equally impressive, beautifully plated, and bursting with flavor. And the cutest little detail? Their adorable mini shovel dessert spoons—such a fun and charming touch! If you’re looking for an elevated dining experience in Red Deer, this is the place to be. Can’t wait to come back! ”
“ My wife took me out for my birthday here. Knowing I hate public acknowledgment of my birthday, she put in the reservation, "Don't mention it." The staff was amazingly friendly when we arrived, and the hostess at the door didn't mention it. We were seated quickly, and our server Thomas greeted us, brought us water, and took our drink order right away. He brought our drinks quickly. The food menu was excellent, with lots of ways to adjust for dietary restrictions. The food was great, I had the Texan Triple 9 pasta dish, and my wife had the salmon. Both plates were delicious. We got the apple crisp for dessert, and there was a message on the plate as seen in the picture. Everything was amazingly enjoyable. From the food to the service to the atmosphere. Top notch. We used to love going to Tribe in this location. We are happy to see its replacement upped the game. We will happily be back. Thanks so much to our server, Thomas, and all the staff for the excellent service and an enjoyable night! (And for the subtle birthday wishes) ”

The food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Worth every penny and I'm already looking forward to our next visit. His passion and love shows through in every bite. Thank you for such a wonderful dining experience Chef. ”
“ What a wonderful place to go for an upscale dinner. For red deer, this place blew most places out of the water in my eyes. It’s so stunning inside with a really nice modern take to a smaller restaurant. I was so impressed by the staff being so attentive and checking to make sure everything was tasting alright. The drinks, fantastic. Food? Even better. Hats off to the chef you’ve done amazing! ”
“ This is a truly unique gem in the heart of downtown historic Red Deer. The food is superb, I love the cool selection of drinks , and the vibe is perfect. I also love the many well thought out details in the decor, such as the River bar that mimics the flow of the Red Deer River through our city. Phil is such a nice guy, and it’s worth asking him about the historic significance of the site of the building as well. Definitely recommend ”
